I put this 12 bladed CS fan in, and it has a lot more thrust. It really runs nicely, although this video isn't very good and the cheap FlyFly retracts are horrible, (I just changed them after this video).
I am using 65C batteries and with these I am able to run up over 1000 watts, but most of the time it only needs 600 or so. This thing only weighs about 6 lbs, and can land like a feather, but in the video one of the LG fell off in flight, so the landing got edited out, no damage but ugly!
It has a much better sound then the previous configuration with the Wemo, and I am flying less that half throttle most of the time. I have since replaced the landing gear, and I am looking forward to flying it again soon.
I love this Big foam Jet, it really provides low stress, scale flying and lots of fun!
